During your first appointment, your provider will get to know you and your concerns as well as discuss your goals for seeking treatment. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss any concerns you may have about any proscribed treatment plan
A psychologist is a mental health professional who has received advanced training in the assessment and treatment of mental health conditions. They typically provide therapy and other non-medication-based treatments. A psychiatric provider is a medical doctor or psychiatric nurse practitioner, who specializes in the treatment of mental illness and can prescribe medication as well as provide therapy.
We are currently cash based (private pay), but can accept some insurances, if applicable/desired.

Yes, treatment is confidential, and your provider is bound by law to keep your discussions and personal information private. There are limited exceptions to this rule, such as if you are in danger of harming yourself or others.

The length of treatment session depends on the individual and their specific mental health needs. Some people may see improvement in just a few sessions, while others may need ongoing treatment for several months or longer. Your provider will work with you to determine the best course of treatment for your needs.
Yes, many mental health clinics, including ours, offer telehealth or online visit options. This can be a convenient and effective option for people who have trouble accessing in-person visit or who prefer the flexibility and privacy of online sessions.
